Canada, World Cup 6 & 7 , World Cup 4X Champion 2009!
Submitted by Jared on Thu, 08/06/2009 - 12:43amSo, it was off to Mt St Anne and Bromont the following weekend for rounds 6 and 7 of the world cup series.
MY big goal come into St Anne was to wrap up the series, A top 3 result here would be pretty much enough to do that, but I really wanted to do that with a win! The 4X track had a ton of improvements over previous years, and it was a really cool track, it held up really well to the rain, and was fun and challenging to ride. It was fairly fast with a good few rough sections and flowing turns, so I knew it was going to be a good track for me, and I qualified in 1st.
Back in Colorado
Submitted by Jared on Thu, 07/09/2009 - 12:51pmBack in sunny Colorado for the past couple weeks, its been awesome to just get back to training and riding for fun. Always nice to have a bit of a midseason break, to freshen up a bit and all that.
Been hanging out at the Yeti factory through the day, riding and training, as well as working with the guys there on some new stuff, and getting existing stuff more dialled. Its always good to be able to be there at the factory and give your feedback.

Fort William, Scotland, MTB world cup #4
Submitted by Jared on Mon, 06/15/2009 - 12:02amBack now from Fort William, surprisingly the weather was nice there for the 2nd year in a row.....crazy!
The only rain of the weekend was for 4X qualifyers on Friday evening, It started to come down real hard about 10 minutes before I went off, just enough to make all the rocks wet and slippery. It was surprising, it was my first qualifying run of the season that I didnt make any mistakes, but It was also the first time I didnt qualify in 1st. 3rd place for me, but no worries, I hate lane 1 at Fort William anyway.
Euro Road Trip
